This Glentauchers single malt from Meadowside Blending's The Maltman series matured for 15 years. The whisky was finished in a Bourdeaux wine cask, which gives it delicate notes of red fruits. It is neither chill-filtered nor coloured and is bottled at cask strength in the slim bottles with the iconic black labels. The independent bottler Meadowside Blending is based in Glasgow and fills special single casks from Scotland's renowned distilleries and has already won several awards for its creations.

De Distilleerderij: Glentauchers
The Glentauchers Distillery is situated in the Speyside, just a few miles from Keith at the road to Craigellachie. There’s no visitor center at Glentauchers and this may be one reason why the distillery is not very well known. But the more important reason is probably that there are very few bottlings of Glentauchers Single Malt Whisky: almost the whole production is used for Blended Whisky.
