This 10-year-old Glenallachie Cuvée matured in a variety of different types of casks. Billy Walker, the Glenallachie Master Distiller, chose American oak casks, Pedro Ximénez Sherry Puncheons, Moscatel Wine Barriques and Ruby Port Pipes for the maturation. The limited bottling was created exclusively for a German importer. The Single Malt was bottled at cask strength without the addition of colouring or chill-filtering. The whisky presents aromas of caramel and fruity components.

Aroma: Süßer Mokka steigt Nase. Langsam kommen Lakritze und Sultaninen, gezuckerte Früchte und saftiges, reifes Obst hinzu und bilden ein herrlich komplexes Aroma.
Geschmack: Cremiger Heidehonig dominiert den Geschmack, perfekt abgerundet durch eine prägnante Würze von Zimt und Nelken. Brauner Zucker und Ahornsirup ergänzen eine unwiderstehliche Süße, begleitet von sanftem Ingwer und Orange.
Abgang: Süßer Honig und vielschichtige Gewürze klingen in einem mittellangen Abgang wunderbar warm nach.
Kommentar: Auf jeden Fall zu empfehlen

Kommentar: Einfach toll, wenn Glenallachie wieder eine Cuvee-Edition herausbringt. Man schmeckt die Fässer, Sherry und rote Früchte. Sehr lecker! Diesen Whisky als B-Ware absolute Kaufempfehlung!
