Another single malt whisky from the Speyside distillery Glen Elgin has also been released by the independent bottler Berry Bros. The whisky, matured in a hogshead and finished in Knaz Truebetskvoy wine casks, was bottled at cask strength exclusively for a German importer. The special cask for the finish comes from the historic Prince Trubetskoi winery in Ukraine. The independent bottler can look back on a long company history dating back to 1698 and is a purveyor to the British royal family.
