Product description
As a rule, Talisker is bottled rather young - not so this 25-year-old. It was bottled at the classic strength of 45.8% vol. At Talisker, the motto Made by the Sea stands not only for the influence that the maritime climate of the Isle of Skye has on cask ageing, but also for sustainability. The distillery has made it its mission to protect and restore the underwater worlds. In 2020, it began working with the environmental organisation Parley of the Oceans to realise its ambitious goal of protecting and restoring 100 million square metres of natural marine space. The Single Malt Whisky spent most of its maturation in Bourbon Hogshead and smaller parts in refill casks from Europe.
