Product description

This Secret Orkney Single Malt Whisky comes from an unnamed distillery and was released by the independent bottler Signatory Vintage. It is part of Signatory's Un-Chillfiltered range, in which the whiskies are not chillfiltered. They were bottled at 46% to prevent clouding. This gives the Single Malts a particularly intense flavour. The malt matured for 13 years in five refill hogsheads.

Geschmack: Getreidenote mit Meeresprise, sanfte Rauchnote, Muskat, süßer Honig

Abgang: Mittellang, Vanilletoffee, glimmente Asche

Kommentar: Vier Fässer - vermutlich Highland Park - Lagerung in refill ex Bourbon Hogsheads

Kommentar: Sehr schöner dezenter Rauch, der sich nicht in den Vordergrund drängt, sondern die anderen Aromen unterstützt. Der Rauch in Verbindung mit den maritimen Anklängen erinnert an Lakritz. Ein toller Whisky von der Insel Orkney (wahrscheinlich ein Highland Park) zu einem sehr guten PLV!
