The M&H Apex Sherry Cask was matured in selected PX and Oloroso ex-sherry casks in Jerez, Spain. The Single Malt pays tribute to both the noble tradition of sherry wines and the innovation of Israeli whisky.

Abgang: lang anhaltend, im unteren Bereich Bauchgegend dann plötzlich sehr wärmend, etwas Zucker, Karamell ?
Kommentar: Der Whisky hat mich interessiert, weil ich vor ca. 5 Jahren selber mal in Israel waren. Wir sind damals durch Zufall auf eine versteckte Whiskybrennerei gestoßen und bekamen dort eine "privataudienz" . Der Name ist mir leider entfallen. Ich habe jetzt bei diesem Whisky etwas die süße vermisst. Die 53,6 % kommen voll zur Geltung. Mit etwas Wasser verdünnt, entwickeln sich dann andere Aromen bzw. werden freigesetzt und der Whisky wird etwas weicher. Bin jetzt nicht enttäucht, habe mir aber etwas anderes vorgestellt.
