Product description
This Loch Lomond whisky matured in hand-selected first-fill Chardonnay wine casks. The classic pot still whisky was combined with the distillery's speciality, a whisky with a special still shape (inchmurrin). This emphasises the fruity aromas typical of Chardonnay wine. The special edition of Loch Lomond celebrates the partnership with the golf championship 'The Open'. The Scottish tournament is one of the most important in the industry internationally. Four different malts were combined for the whisky. It takes place for the 152nd time this year and the winner is honoured with the Royal Troon Cup.

Loch Lomond is located in the Scottish town of Alexandria, directly on the lake of the same name. Hardly any other distillery in Scotland deserves the title 'unique' as much as Loch Lomond. The distillery has not only pot stills, but also Coffey and Column stills. This allows the production of many different types of Whisky.

Aroma: Zitronenzeste und grüne Äpfel verbinden sich mit Noten von Birnen und Vanille.
Geschmack: Obstgartenfrüchte, frische Pfirsiche und Birnen gehen langsam in Blütenhonig und getoastetes Eichenholz über.
Abgang: Mittellang mit feiner Zimtwürze und sanften Anklängen von Rauch.
