Aroma Intense fruitiness with accents of ripe bananas, sweets and cinnamon.
Taste Thick, chewy and oily texture with peppery and malty notes, followed by facets of strawberries, brandy schnapps and Parma violets.
Finish Subtle peat smoke in the background with sweet hints of wine gum, toasted oats, earthy notes of dunnage, pleasantly dry.

Product description
Springbank Local Barley is part of the distillery's Local series, for which only barley from local farmers is used. This 13-year-old single malt whisky is made from Belgravia barley from Glencraigs Farm near the distillery and is produced without the addition of colouring or chill-filtering. The limited edition matures with 40% in sherry casks and 60% in bourbon casks in a slightly different cask composition than its predecessor. The Springbank whisky is bottled on the distillery premises at 54.1% vol. in the characteristic bottles.
Please note: The Springbank outer packaging is made of very thin cardboard. We only dispatch goods in perfect condition, but unfortunately we cannot guarantee that the Springbank cardboard will not be damaged in the post.
