Product description
Individual casks are bottled in the Solist series. Each bottling is labelled with the serial number, barrel type and signature of the master blender.
The wine casks for the Vinho bottling are brushed and freshly toasted. Before they are used for the whisky maturation, they are left to mature for another 2 years.

Aroma: satter Sherry, etwas scharf, tiefe dunkle Beeren, Rosinen, süßer Fruchtteig, etwas Öl,
Geschmack: sofort vollmundig, trocken werdend, nimmt an Schärfe zu, der Alkohol zeigt sich,
Abgang: kräftiger Antritt, mittellang, Schokolade (mittel bis herb), etwas Holz, fruchtiger Nachgeschmack,
Kommentar: Heute pur verkostet, der Alkohol belebt den Whisky doch dominierend. Trotzdem ein ausgezeichnetes Handwerk. Offensichtlich waren die Fässer sehr gut ausgesucht, keine Fehlnoten, alles passt. Für das Alter (unbekannt?) sensationell. Der kann wirklich mit den guten "Schotten" (mindestens) mithalten.
