Depaz Cuvée Victor Depaz is made from pure sugar cane juice. The sugar cane was harvested at the foot of the Mount Pelée volcano, where the terroir is challenging for cultivation, but the mineral-rich environment ensures the excellent quality of the plants and the juice obtained from them. The long fermentation of at least 60 days and a long resting phase of up to three months in stainless steel tanks result in a white rhum agricole with outstanding flavours.

The Distillery: Depaz
The Depaz distillery is located near the town of Saint Pierre in Martinique, which was once the largest Rum port in the world. Victor Depaz founded his Rum distillery in 1917, just 15 years after the eruption of the volcano Montagne Pelée, which at the time destroyed the entire town at its feet.
