Product description
Benriach is located in the heart of Speyside, between the village of Rothes and the town of Elgin. The distillery is one of the few in Scotland that still malt their own barley. The 16-year-old Single Malt was composed by Master Blender Rachel Barrie and matured in Bourbon barrels, Sherry casks and Virgin Oak casks.

Geschmack: Sahnige gemischte Früchte, leichte Süße mit zarten Gewürzen und minimaler Bitterkeit

Abgang: Lang und wärmend mit ganz leichter Salznote

Kommentar: Sehr schöner und milder Single Malt. Natural colour!
Die Aromen in der Nase sind betörend und treffen genau meinen Geschmack. Am Gaumen hätte ich mir für 16 Jahre und 70 Euro jedoch
etwas mehr Intensität erhofft. Insgesamt wirklich gut, aber nicht überragend.
