Product description
The name goes back to a scientific expedition of the Austrian Navy with the frigate "Norvara", which was carried out between 1857 and 1859 under the command of Commodore Bernhard von Wullerstorf-Urbair. This first expedition of its kind was initiated and financed by Archduke Ferdinand Maximilian. The Austrian Empire Navy Rum Novara is a fine blend of rums aged for 5 to 8 years in oak barrels from three oceans: Atlantic, Pacific and Indian Oceans. This unique blend combines rums from Mauritius, Venezuela, Indonesia and the Philippines and offers a rich, complex and smooth flavour profile.
