The Stagg Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey matured for almost a decade in fresh oak barrels. George T. Stagg was born in 1835. In the 19th century, the golden age of bourbon, he founded the distillery, now known as Buffalo Trace, near the Kentucky River.
