Product description
With a peat smoke content of 307.2 PPM, the Octomore 15.3 is part of Bruichladdich's renowned Octomore series, which is known for its extremely heavily peated single malts. The 15.3. is the second most smoky whisky in the series after the Mastercalss. The bottling is distilled from 100% Islay barley, which comes from Octomore Farm just 2 miles away. The origin gives the 15.3 an impressive complexity and a powerful character. The slow distillation and the absence of chill-filtration and without the use of colouring agents, the influences of the sea breeze and sweet barley malt of the island are emphasised. The aromas of 15.3 are characterised by smoke, ripe fruit and flavour facets that are always new to discover.

Geschmack: Rund und samtig, Butterkaramell, Vanillecreme und etwas geröstete Eiche, im Hintergrund trockene Rauchschwaden.

Abgang: Karamellisierter Zucker, Kokosnuss, Meeresbrise und der für Octomore typische erdige Rauch.
