Aroma: Frucht aber eher Orange, der Rauch aus der Beschreibung kommt bei mir nicht an.

Kommentar: Der Beschreibung von Klaus vom 26.7.2024 schließe ich mich voll und ganz an. Ich hätte keine zutreffendere Worte finden können.
Für mich die "Benmark" für alle anderen Single Malts.

Kommentar: Perfekt ausbalancierte Komposition aus intensiver Fruchtigkeit, maritimen Anklängen und einer Ahnung von Rauch. In gewisser Weise sagt die geografische Lage der Brennerei auch etwas über den außergewöhnlichen Charakter des Oban aus: Längst ist er kein gefälliger Highlander mehr, aber auch noch weit entfernt von der Schroffheit mancher Insel-Whiskys. Mein absoluter Liebling, schon immer und immer wieder!
