The Mezan Chiriqui Rum from Panama is made from molasses distilled on modern multi-colum stills and was refined in a Moscatel barrel after its initial maturation in ex-bourbon barrels. The molasses rum comes from the barrel into the bottle without the addition of colourings or sweeteners, and without chill filtration.

Aroma: Intensive Vanille- und Pfeffernoten verbinden sich mit Akzenten von Eiche. Steinobst- und Kokusnussaromen folgen nach.
Geschmack: Ausbalanciert mit subtilen Anklängen von Holz und dezenter Würze.
Abgang: Frisch und würzig mit etwas Pfeffer.

Finish: very short with an aftertaste of wasted money
Comment: Couldn't drink it pure. Instead mixed with Arcane Extraroma which is deadly sweet alone. I would recommend to get Mezan Jamaican Rum XO - ten time better than both for the roughly the same price.
