The Killeigh Single Pot Still Whisky from the Signature Selection is made from the best unmalted and malted barley, which is distilled three times in pot stills. The distillate is matured in three different types of cask, including Kentucky Bourbon casks, European Moscatel wine casks and Virgin American Oak casks, before being married together. The result is a full-bodied, fruity and smooth single malt. The Macaloney's Caledonian distillery was founded by three whisky-experienced Scots in Canada. In addition to founder and fermentation expert Dr Graeme Macaloney, ex-Diageo Master Distiller Mike Nicolson and whisky expert Dr Jim Swan, who passed away in 2017, were also involved in the concept.

The Distillery: Macaloney's Caledonian
Macaloney's distillery in the Canadian city of Victoria was founded by Scot Graeme Macaloney, who discovered his passion for the "water of life" during a summer job as a Whisky bottler. He sought help in setting up his distillery from ex-Diageo Master Distiller Mike Nicolson and Whisky expert Dr Jim Swan, who died in 2017.

Aroma: Creamsoda, süße und sanfte Vanille und Eichennoten, dazu Aprikose, Birnen sowie ein Hauch Banane. Akzente von gemahlenem Getreide und Honig verbinden sich mit Weißwein und maritimen Facetten.
Geschmack: Vollmundig, fruchtig und weich mit Anklängen von Litschis, Mandarinen, Bananen und erneuten Honig- und Malznoten.
Abgang: Holzgewürze, Vanille, Kokusnuss und Zimt in Kombination mit Muskatnuss, Weißweinnoten aus dem Moscatelfass und Crème Fraiche, dazu noch geröstete Haselnüsse, Meersalz und Eichennoten.
