	Macaloney's An Loy,46% vol: Aroma: Delicate fruit and floral notes, followed by oak, vanilla and some malt. Taste: Creamy mouthfeel with complex layers of oak, accents of caramelised orange, fruitcake and blackcurrant. Hints of wood spices and juicy malted barley follow. Finish: A hint of sea salt ends with a lingering finish with notes of dry oak. Cask type: Bourbon, Oloroso, PX and STR Red Wine
	Macaloney's Kildara, 46% vol: Flavour: Velvety smooth and full-bodied, with sherry and tropical fruits. Oatmeal develops into oak spices, coffee, dark chocolate orange, nectarines, stewed plums, blackcurrant, redcurrant and sultanas. Finish: Hints of fruit cake and honey finish with notes of dried fruit with a hint of salt and lingering in nuances of oak and more sherry, finishing with hazelnut and almond raspberry cake and dark chocolate. Cask type: Kentucky Bourbon casks, Virgin Oak casks, Spanish Oloroso and Pedro Ximénez sherry casks
	Macaloney's Cath-Nah-Aven, 46% vol: Taste: Rich sherry notes with a creamy mouthfeel characterised by plums, sultanas and spices. Structured tannins and oak notes are added, with juicy accents of barley malt in the background. Finish: Long and complex with a hint of sea salt and a symphony of different flavours. Cask type: Spanish Oloroso and Pedro Ximénez casks
	Macaloney's St. Mallie, 46% vol: Aroma: Berries, demerara sugar and cigar as well as honey and wood spice. Cask type: Recharred Portuguese Red Wine Barrique
	Macaloney's Siol Dugall, 46% vol: Aroma: Pinewood smoke, light peat smoke and tropical fruits, pork crust, rosemary, cedar, sandalwood and lapsang souchong tea developing into rose petals, dates, lemon peel and caramel with hints of nutmeg, cloves and ginger. There are also summer meadow flowers, mown grass, malt extract and burnt heather. Taste: Velvety mouthfeel with sweet, malty peat smoke, barley water, pea blossom, clover honey, crème brulée with burnt caramel, fennel seeds, lemon sponge and dried hay, with lingering oak. Finish: Slightly sweet smoke and subtle hints of salt with maritime facets.

The Macaloney's Island Drams Collection miniature range consists of 5 cl each of Macaloney's An Loy, Kildara, Cath-Nah-Aven, St. Mallie & Siol Dugall, each bottled at 46% vol. The range invites you to get to know the Macaloney's Caledonian distillery from Canada. It was founded by three Scots with whisky experience. In addition to the founder and fermentation expert Dr Graeme Macaloney, ex-Diageo Master Distiller Mike Nicolson and whisky expert Dr Jim Swan, who died in 2017, were also involved in the concept.

The Distillery: Macaloney's Caledonian

Macaloney's distillery in the Canadian city of Victoria was founded by Scot Graeme Macaloney, who discovered his passion for the "water of life" during a summer job as a Whisky bottler. He sought help in setting up his distillery from ex-Diageo Master Distiller Mike Nicolson and Whisky expert Dr Jim Swan, who died in 2017. read more
