King of Casks Murca Old Brandy Cask is part of the Mission Gold series from the independent Speyside bottler Murray McDavid. In this series, Murray McDavid brings particularly old, rare and exceptional whiskies to the market. The King of Casks is a so-called tea-spooned whisky. In addition to single malt from The Balvenie, it contains a teaspoon of another malt, creating a blended malt. The 27-year-old whisky creation was matured in bourbon hogsheads before a 3-year finish in old brandy casks from the Douro Valley.
