Product description
Single casks are bottled in the Solist series. This bottling is labelled with the bottle number, barrel type and barrel number. The wine barrels for the Vinho bottling are brushed and freshly toasted. They are then left to rest for 2 years before being used for the whisky maturation.

Geschmack: Tropische Früchte kombiniert mit Cocoa und reichhaltigen Karamellnoten.

Außergewöhnlicher Whisky, der seine tropische Natur als erfrischende Abwechslung in den Ledersessel wirft. Der hohe Alkoholgehalt macht es für Normalsterbliche absolut vertretbar mit Wasser (definitiv nicht Eis) die reiche Palette an Aromen aufzubrechen. Er trinkt sich am besten zu Temperaturen wie in Taiwan üblich, um die 25 Grad. Dann liefert er Reichtum an cremigem Geschmack der die Vorlieben des Whisky, Wein, und erstklassigen Rum-trinkers gleichermaßen überzeugen kann. Wer tropische Früchte, Schokolade, Kaffee, und/oder Wein liebt, der kommt hier voll auf seine Kosten , ...
Nach persönlichem Test fast der gesamten Produktpalette in Taiwan, ist dies immernoch mein Favorit aus der Brennerei Kavalan. Ausschließlich für hartgesottene Rauch-Fanatiker ist dies kein ausgezeichneter Kandidat. Ansonsten muss man Kavalan Vinho Barique probiert haben.

Kommentar: Großartiger Whisky, intensiv mit betörender Fruchtigkeit, süß und würzig. Trotz der Stärke ist Alkohol kein Thema. Mit ein paar Tropfen Wasser verwandelt er sich, wird cremig und eine traumhafte Milchschokokade tritt in den Vordergrund.
