Product description
The Paps' refers to the three mountains on the island of Jura. The Sacred Mountain, the Mountain of Sound and the Mountain of Gold. These tower for miles over the landscape of Jura.
This Single Malt also belongs to the 'Sherry Collection'. It matured in American white oak bourbon casks and received its post-maturation in sherry casks, in which a 40-year-old Pedro Ximénez was previously stored.

Kommentar: Nase sehr vielversprechend, natürlich sherrylastig, was sonst. 5/5 Sternen. Geschmack voll, fällt dennoch etwas ab, für mich der Gummibärchen-Vergleich etwas überspitzt, aber ich würde mal sagen: etwas überzuckert, aber da schlägt eben die Nachreifung etwas zu arg zu und könnte ggf. mit leicher Verkürzung einen guten Qualitätssprung bringen. 4-4,5/5 Sternen. Abgang ganz stark, geschmackvoll und lang, der Abgang ist hier klar die stärkste Ebene. 5/5 Sternen +. PLV famos!
