Product description
The Islay Rum Peat Spiced is inspired by the distillation methods used in the Caribbean. Copper Pot Stills and Double Retort Stills are used in the old Lemonade Factory in Port Ellen. Oranges, ginger and crushed cocoa beans are added to the unripened rum, which has been kilned over peat fires. This gives the spiced rum its smoky aroma with multi-layered, fruity-spicy facets.
