I.W. Harper has only been on the market again since 2015. 15 years is a proud age for a Bourbon. The brand itself can also look back on a long tradition. The first whiskey was distilled under the name I.W. Harper as early as 1872. Production was discontinued in the 1980s.

Kommentar: Trotz eigentlicher Skepsis gegenüber Bourbon Whiskys wurde ich hier doch überzeugt. Süßes Arpoma im Geschmack kommt für einen Bourbon typisch Vanille durch aber auch Eiche und Würze.
Toller Whisky für zwischendurch.

würzig, etwas Eiche, süß mit Karamell, Vanille, sehr weich, etwas Pfirsich, dann werden die würzigen Noten stärker

Aromatischer Abgang, würzig mit Kräutern und einer subtilen Süße , jedoch überwiegend holzig,, erdige Noten

interessanter Bourbon vor allem im Abgang. Jedoch finde ich den 12 jährigen harmonischer
