Aroma: Deutliche Vanille, sehr wenig Karamell, mit Honig leichtem Nougat, Nelken und Zuckerkonfekt.

Geschmack: Harmonisch, süß und sirupartig: Weiche eingelegte Früchte (Äpfel, Orange), Vanille, etwas mehr Karamell und wieder dieser Honig (zwischen Wald- und Wiesenhonig).

Abgang: Mittel: Vanille-Kekse mit Butterzimt und Wachs-Honig-Glasur.

Kommentar: Von allen 3 Standard-Abfüllungen von Four Roses ist dies die Beste: Ausgewogen, nicht zu süß, nicht zu eichenlastig und gutes Preis/Leistungs-Verhältnis. Das Züchten der Hefe seit vielen Jahrzenten und die Erfahrungen des Blendings zeigen offensichtlich gute Erfolge für Four Roses. Möge es bitte so weiter gehen!
