This bottling is part of Highland Park's Warrior series. The distillery is honouring its roots, which go back to Viking times, and is dedicated to King Harald. King Harald was famous for his army, which was revered worldwide. His berserkers were feared, intrepid heroes who fought with bloody shields. A shield also adorns the packaging of this Highland Park.

Aroma: Milder Sherry, Honig und eine schwer definierbare würzig-kräuterige Note.
Geschmack: Sherry (ein wenig schweflig) mit leichter Schärfe; herb-süß - Karamell, Vanille, Honig, Eichentannine und milder Rauch - mit einem insgesamt eher schwachen Gesamteindruck.
Abgang: Relativ kurz; leicht salzig mit Malz und Karamell.
Kommentar: Trinkbar, aber doch irgendwie enttäuschend. Der nur etwas mehr als halb so teure HP 12 erscheint mir wesentlich besser als dieser NAS-Highland Park aus dem Travel Retail-Angebot. Daher nur zweieinhalb Punkte.

Kommentar: Ich hätte mit ein Alter gewünscht, damit nicht der falsche Eindruck entsteht, man will schnell noch ne Serie herausbringen. Aber ein solider Highland Park, mit leichter Schärfe.
