Product description

Highland Park 54 Year Old is the oldest single malt whisky ever produced on the Orkney Islands at the traditional and historic Highland Park distillery. The special bottling, limited to 225 bottles, was created to celebrate the distillery's 225th anniversary. Master Distiller Gordon Motion blended four refill butts and 6 refill hogsheads with European first-fill sherry butts and finally matured the time-honoured whisky for 14 years in ex-sherry casks, which give this Highland Park its rich, natural colour and intense flavour. The wooden box can be opened on both sides and is reminiscent of a cask. This gives the exclusive single malt bottled in an old decanter a very impressive appearance.

Aroma: Intensiv süß, reichhaltig und komplex. Alte Eiche trifft auf zarten Torfrauch.

Geschmack: Warme Gewürze, wie zerstoßener Kreuzkümmel, Kordiandersamen, Sommerrose und Jasmin mit einem Hauch von Kiwi, exotischer Litschi und Pistazie.

Abgang: Süß und würzig, Pistazie mit leicht holziger Note, süßer Bockshornklee mit dezentem Torfrauch.
