The Edradour Sauvignon Cask is part of a new whisky series from Edradour owner and Signatory founder Andrew Symington, which was created in collaboration with the St. Michael-Eppan winery from South Tyrol. The 11-year-old single malt matured in a single Cabernet Sauvignon cask, which further enhances the whisky with subtle notes from the wine cask. This Edradour was matured in the first-fill Sauvignon Cask #1001, resulting in seductive fruity notes and a pleasant minerality. The Sauvignon is the winery's most famous wine.

Near the Edradour distillery lie the ruins of the Lindores Ruins. This is the birthplace of Aquavite (water of life) that later became the Whisky we know. Edradour is one of the smallest distilleries in Scotland.
