For the Glenlivet Caribbean Reserve, part of the malt was post-matured in casks that previously contained rum from the Caribbean. This gave the whisky its particularly sweet notes.

Kommentar: Das Aroma unglaubich süß. Im Geschmack ist die Süße nicht mehr so präsent. Jedoch trotzdem noch mild und leicht cremig.
Insgesamt könnte der Whisky ein wenig intensiver sein, was ihn aber generell nicht schlecht macht.

Kommentar: Sommerlicher, fruchtig, süßer angenehm leichter Whisky, Gutes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. Den Balvenie Caribbean Cask ziehe ich aber vor.
