Product description
This 11-year-old Glenallachie whisky was bottled exclusively for the German market. It matured in a single puncheon, which previously contained sherry. Puncheon is an old English unit of measurement; in relation to casks, it refers to somewhat wider, stockier types than butts, which also hold 500 litres. The single malt is bottled without chill-filtering and without the addition of colour at 58.3% vol. cask strength.
