Product description
This Glen Elgin was released by independent bottler James Eadie. James Eadie (1827-1904) was a Scottish brewer who founded an important brewery in 1854. The family recipe for his own blended Scotch whisky was left to him by his father at the time, which he described as "an old Scotch blend issued to a select few". Today, James Eadie is run by his great-great-grandson Rupert Patrick.
The focus of their bottlings is on cask finishes, single casks and small batches, which are not chill-filtered, without colouring and are released in very limited quantities.
