Product description
The Irish Athru Single Malts come from the Lough Gill distillery in the north-west of the country. The malts created by Master Blend Billy Walker are inspired by the regional landscape and mythology. Knocknarea is named after the mountain to the west of the town of Sligo, which is also the final resting place of the legendary warrior queen Maeve. Matured for eleven years in bourbon casks, the malt was then given a three-year finish in Oloroso sherry casks.
