Product description
The Don Papa Single Island Rum is the flagship of the Philippines-based distillery. Like its siblings, the 7-year-old is matured in ex-bourbon barrels made of American oak and Rioja wine barrels, which brings out clear vanilla, honey and fruit notes very nicely. At the same time, it is less sweet than the other Don Papa rums.

Aroma: Frisch mit Noten von gerösteten Zitrusfrüchten, einem Hauch Mango, frisch geernteten Erdbeeren und Kompott aus Gartenobst. Dazu Beiklänge von sanfter Würze und süßer Eiche.
Geschmack: Körperreich und vollmundig mit Anklängen von reifen Mandarinen, braunem Zucker, weicher Vanillecreme, dezent würzigem, frischem Ingwer und etwas Zitronenzeste.

Kommentar: Dieser Rum war eine zeitlang von der Bildfläche verschwunden. Jetzt ist er wieder da. Leider hat er mit dem alten nichts mehr gemeinsam. Ich bin sowas von enttäuscht!!! Wenn er nicht schon offen wäre, würde ich ihn wieder zurück schicken. Der schlechteste Rum den ich je getrunken habe. Keinen einzigen Stern.
