Only blue agave plants (Agave Tequilana) are used for the Don Julio Blanco Tequila using a time-honoured distillation process, and the result is Tequila in its purest form. Don Julio Blanco can be enjoyed neat, on the rocks or in cocktails. The cultivation and harvesting of the agaves for Don Julio Tequila takes place in the 'Highlands' of Jalisco in Mexico, which offer the perfect microclimate and rich volcanic soil. It is also the birthplace of La Primavera distillery, founded by Don Julio Gonzalez in 1942, and thus the beginning of Don Julio Tequila.

To this day, the high-quality Don Julio Tequila is produced there – from the careful cultivation of the agaves to the final distillation.
