The Don Julio Añejo Tequila matured for eighteen months in smaller batches in American white oak barrels. This made it a rich, complex tequila that is best enjoyed neat or chilled on ice. The cultivation and harvesting of the agaves for Don Julio Tequila takes place in the 'Highlands' of Jalisco in Mexico, which offer the perfect microclimate and rich volcanic soil. It is also the birthplace of La Primavera distillery, founded by Don Julio Gonzalez in 1942, and thus the beginning of Don Julio Tequila.

La Primavera distillery was founded in 1942 by Don Julio González in the heart of the Mexican highlands of Jalisco. To this day, the high-quality Don Julio Tequila is produced there – from the careful cultivation of the agaves to the final distillation. The cultivation, harvesting and processing of the blue Weber agave takes place directly on site.

Geschmack: Vollmundig und komplex mit Anklängen von gekochter Agave, wildem Honig und mit Eichenwürze und Butterscotch.
Abgang: Leicht würzig und mild. Sanfte Noten von Wildhonig.
