Aroma: Restrained with fruity citrus notes. Fresh and appetising. Distinct smoke with medicinal notes.
Taste: The initial sweetness gives way to peat smoke. Pleasant mouthfeel.
Finish: Long, traces of sea and smoke.
Clynelish 14 year old
Flavour: Light. Candle wax with some sugar. Floral, aromatic, dried flowers on the beach. Followed by brown sugar.
Taste: Pleasant on the palate. Delicately oily with a maritime character.
Finish: Slightly salty flavour. Dry with oak.
Talisker 10 Year Old
Aroma: Strong peat smoke, seawater saltiness, a lemony sweetness.
Taste: A rich sweetness of dried fruit, with warming smoke and barley malt, a peppery explosion on the palate.
Finish: Powerful, long, warming and peppery.

    Kommentar: Caol Ila und Talisker 3 Sterne, Clynelish 4 - meiner Meinung nach deutlich der angenehmste Whisky in der Auswahl, wobei der Talisker eher der schwächste war. Insgesamt eine gute Möglichkeit drei Whisky günstig zu testen und dank 0,2 pro Sorte natürlich schöner für mehrmalige Verkostungen, als bei den üblichen 4cl Proben.
