This 13-year-old Chivas Regal was partially matured in tequila casks and is part of the 'Extra' collection launched in 2020, which pays homage to the time when the Chivas Brothers traded not only spirits but also spices and foodstuffs from all over the world. The partial finish in tequila barrels emphasises the fresh floral notes in the Blend. Chivas' blends are aged and contain predominantly Speyside whiskies. Whisky from the Strathisla distillery is used as the lead malt.
