Product description
The Bushmills Causeway Collection from the Northern Irish distillery is named after the Giant's Causeway World Heritage Site, a rock formation on the north coast of Ireland. The 11-year-old triple-distilled Irish single malt initially matured in a combination of Oloroso sherry and bourbon casks. It was then finished in rare cognac casks. After 11 years of maturation, the whiskey was bottled uncoloured and unfiltered.

Aroma: Gebrannte Mandeln mit Noten von getrocknetem Pfirsich.

Geschmack: Intensiver Geschmack nach trocknen Früchten, gerösteten Mandeln und warmer Vanilleschotte.

Abgang: Frischer Pfirsich und Gewürze.

Toller irischer Whisky! Die Nachreifung trifft genau meinen Geschmack, sehr aromatisch, kein störender Alkohol im Mund, den hab ich mir trotz des Preises nochmal gekauft :)

Kommentar: Sehr sehr gut und interessant. Die Nachreifung Cognac Cask ist ungewöhnlich und für mich die erste, aber nicht letzte.
