This Bunnahabhain whisky was released by the independent bottler Signatory Vintage in the small batch series. The single malt from the Islay distillery matured for 11 years in Oloroso sherry casks and has fruity, nutty accents alongside its soft, smoky notes.

Kommentar: Ok, aber ich habe etwas mehr erwartet.Wo soll da Rauch sein? Olorosofasscharakter meines Erachtens zu stark ausgeprägt, aber keine Cherrybombe. Etwas babbisch, Süffig und Scharf. Der Alkohol ist nicht so gut eingebunden. Bunnahabhain Islay Charakter finde ich irgendwie nicht wieder… meine Meinung. Paar Tropfen Wasser schaden ihm nicht.
Update: Nach einige Wochen Atmen hat der Alkoholgeschmack nachgelassen. Schmeckt jetzt deutlich besser…
