For the Brother's Bond Bottled in Bond Bourbon, a mash bill of 51% corn, 39% rye and 10% malted rye was used, distilled in a single distillery during a single season. The bottling was matured for at least seven years - three years longer than prescribed - in an old bonded warehouse. The intensive barrel distillation and the absence of chill filtering enhance the character and give the Bourbon whiskey a harmonious blend of vanilla, toasted oak, sweet caramel and fine baking spices. Brother's Bond was created by actors Ian Somerhalder and Paul Wesley, who are best known for their work together in the Vampire Diaries series. Although they are not brothers in real life, in the series they play two vampire brothers who are not averse to a good glass of whiskey.

Kommentar: BiB, ich mag diese Range an US - Alkoholika. Zumeist verspricht es einen anständigen Standard und gute Qualität. Und auch der hier kann überzeugen. Ich hatte den Cask strength schon, und war nicht soooo begeistert. Dann kam der BiB raus und ich konnte einfach nicht anders als ihn mir zu zulegen. Und ich bin nicht enttäuscht. Die einzigartige 4 Grain Mashbill macht ihn Aroma und Geschmackstechnisch zu etwas besonderen. Da darfs dann eben auch ein paar Euronen mehr für den " Star - Zuschlag" sein. Guter Whiskey zu einem gewagten Preis. 3, 5 Sternchen ist er aber allemal wert.
