After the usual ageing period of around six years, the Maker's Mark Cellar Aged was stored in the Maker's Mark cellars for a further five years. This is where the Cellar Aged developed its deep, rich and complex character.

The Distillery: Maker's Mark
Makers Mark is on the rise and needs to increase its production capacity. But they don't want to change anything to the production process. So they just multiply their existing production equipment. They already did this around the turn of the millennium with the second still and more fermenters. In 2015 they install a third similar still and even more fermenters of the same kind.

Aroma: WOW Dit is fijne bourbon voor de feestdagen -
en kaneel komen hoog erop in de smaak maar ook de en NATUURLIJK de die je bij elke maker's mark heftig proeft komt naar boven
Geschmack: zijn echt de smaken die hier naar boven schijnen terwijl de rest meer een backseat neemt
Abgang: de rest van het drankje glijd lekker de keel in alsof het niks is met een fijne dikke structuur, exact wat ik wilde. als deze fles 100 euro was zou dit mijn standaart whiskey worden
Kommentar: Een TOP fles van maker's mark. de enige reden dat het geen 5 sterren is komt doordat de prijs net iets te hoog gelegd is in mijn opinie, je betaald duidelijk een goeie 40 tot 50 euro meer voor het merk. maar dat krijg je als je zo beroemd word

Geschmack: Leichte Zitrusnoten, Karamell sowie eine schöne, leichte Pfeffrigkeit.
Abgang: Mittellang, die typische Maker's-Note bleibt am Gaumen haften.
Kommentar: Nicht ganz so gut wie der erste Cellar Aged und im Preis etwas hoch. Dennoch eine klare Empfehlung!
