The Armorik Double Matured comes from a combination of Breton oak casks and sherry casks. The Warenghem distillery often uses Breton oak casks to store its whisky. For every Breton oak that is felled for a cask, Warenghem has two new trees planted.

7.8.23-14.1.24 - Immer angenehm zu trinken, Frucht (grüne und rote Äpfel) und anfangs Sherryeinflüsse, nachfolgend noch runder werdend. 5.9. rund und schmackhaft 1.10. dito, ein Genuss nach Laga 12yo 14.1. - Sherryeinfluss ist weg, dafür Aprikose, grüne Apfel mit maritimen Noten, süffige Süsse. Frisches Holz. Etwas Schwefel und Säure. Nicht mehr so schmackhaft wie am Anfang. Abgang eher kurz und ohne Besonderheiten.
Im Schnitt 3,5 Sterne - Insgesamt unkomplizierter Sommerwhisky - easy to drink.
