Product description
This Ben Nevis belongs to the Signatory Vintage Series. In this series, Signatory seeks out special Single Malts, some of which come from closed distilleries and rare single casks. Andrew Symington founded his company at the end of the 80s and has always maintained good contact with the distilleries. More than 10,000 casks are stored in the warehouses of the independent bottler. The Highlander, matured for 8 years in second fill Oloroso sherry butts, is bottled at 43% alcohol by volume and is not coloured. It is characterised by a particularly mild Taste and is suitable thereby also for beginners. All bottles in this series bear precise information about the distillation and bottling dates as well as the casks.

Aroma: Malzig, cremig, Toffee, Kinderschokolade, säuerliche Früchte, Sternfrucht, Orangenschale, kommt mir insgesamt sehr reif vor

Geschmack: Sehr Cremig, malzig, würzige Eiche, schwarzer Pfeffer

Abgang: Mittellang, fruchtig, Orangenöl, würzig, Eiche, Bitterschokolade

Kommentar: Brennereicharakter kommt sehr schön durch, er ist kräftig, nicht überlagert, gut ausgewogen und wunderbar cremig. Gefällt mir gut

Kommentar: Jung, fruchtig, süß und Kräuter, kräftig trotz 43%. Der Geschmack hat herbe dunkle Noten und Kräuter, 2nd fill Sherryfass mit Honigsüße, sehr lecker. Abgang mit viel Gewürzen und bittersüß malzigem Ende.
