Single Malt

This Secret Orkney Single Malt Whisky comes from an unnamed distillery and was released by the independent bottler Signatory Vintage. It is part of Signatory's Un-Chillfiltered range, in which the whiskies are not chillfiltered. They were bottled at 46% to prevent clouding. This gives the Single Malts a particularly intense flavour. The malt matured for 13 years in five refill hogsheads.

The Highland distillery Nc'nean is committed to ecological quality and sustainability. This Nc'nean Organic now comes with a thermo drinking bottle, which is the result of a gift idea from the distillery and is intended to inspire every outdoor fan as well as the Single Malt connoisseur and lover of Nc'nean Organic whisky. Hot drinks can be kept warm for up to 4 hours in the included stainless steel thermo drinking bottle.

Bunnahabhain Staoisha is named after the lake near the distillery whose water is used to cool the distillery's Pot Stills. Non-chill-filtered whiskies are usually bottled at 46%. At a higher alcohol content, the oils and fats remain dissolved in the whisky. Below 46%, the result is a very cloudy malt. Signatory Vintage deliberately plays with this effect in the 'Very Cloudy' series. This is a strongly smoky bottling. The 8-year-old Single Malt Whisky was matured in Dechar/Rechar hogsheads.

The Edradour Merlot Cask is part of a new whisky series from Edradour owner and Signatory founder Andrew Symington, which was created in collaboration with the St. Michael-Eppan winery from South Tyrol. This 11-year-old single malt matured in a single Merlot cask, which refines the whisky with fine notes from the Merlot wine cask. Merlot is one of the most popular grape varieties in the world, which can now be discovered in combination with this Edradour single malt, which is neither coloured nor chill-filtered.

The Arran 17 year old is a unique limited edition for the year 2023 and comprises only 12,000 bottles worldwide. A mixture of first fill and second fill sherry hogsheads and first fill bourbon casks were used in equal proportions for the maturation before this was bottled unfiltered and without the addition of colouring.

Time plays an important role in the Bowmore Timeless Series. Above all, taking some. Not only for the maturation, which first took place for 15 years in sherry and bourbon casks and then for another 12 years in first-fill oloroso casks, but also for the enjoyment. In the gift box, which is shaped like an hourglass, there is a three-minute running hourglass. One run each should be taken to explore the malt with nose and palate.

With this Single Cask, Benromach is releasing a cask strength and limited edition Single Malt that has been matured in a single first fill Bourbon barrel. It was neither chill-filtered nor coloured and bottled in limited form.

The Glenfarclas Family Casks series contains single cask bottlings of various vintages since the early 1950s. For each vintage, only a single cask was selected, which is one of the best of its year. In order to be able to continue to offer the full series, there have already been several releases.

For the Glencadam Reserva de Madeira, the Highland distillery used American oak bourbon casks for maturation. The malt then matured in fortified wine casks from the Portuguese island of Madeira. The successful combination of cask maturation in conjunction with distillation on two pot stills with upward-facing lyne arms gives this 15-year-old Single Malt a syrupy, fruity and caramelly depth and complexity.

21 years of maturation made this Loch Lomond a balanced malt with fruity and smoky flavours.

The Glenturret Triple Wood 2023 is matured in two types of sherry casks made from American and European oak as well as ex-bourbon casks, which give the single malt whisky a soft and gentle flavour profile with fruity facets. The core range and design were revised in 2020. The fine decanters were designed and produced by Glenturret's new part-owner, the French luxury goods company Lalique. The distillery is steeped in history and is the oldest working distillery in Scotland.

The village of Port Askaig is located on the north-east coast of the Isle of Islay. It is the village that has been considered the gateway to the island for hundreds of years. The distillery behind this 17-year-old single malt is a well-kept secret, as this is part of the concept behind the brand, which was created by Elixir Distillers. Although the casks for each Port Askaig bottling are always selected from one distillery, the respective Islay distillery can vary depending on the bottling. As the distillery, which is also known as the 'Sound of Islay', did not allocate any casks elsewhere in the production year of this bottling, another distillery, which was heavily involved in maritime trade in its early days, is probably responsible for the contents. The pleasantly smoky single malt matured for 17 years in American oak casks.
