Product description
This Tomatin belongs to the Portuguese Collection of the Highland distillery. In this series, the influence of Portuguese port wine casks, Moscatel casks and Madeira casks on the Highland whisky initially matured in ex-bourbon casks is represented. The Moscatel Edition was distilled in 2006 and transferred to Moscatel casks for final maturation in 2015. The design of the outer packaging is visually reminiscent of the wooden cask in which the Single Malt matured.

Tomatin has been a rising star among the Scottish distilleries since the beginning of the millennium. The Highland distillery was the biggest Scottish distillery in the 1970, but the quality of the Whisky wasn’t high regarded. Ups and downs followed and after been new positioned from 2000 onwards Tomatin grew to be one of the most reputable Scottish Whisky brands worldwide. read more

Kommentar: Rund und weich, süß, Honig, Frucht, Vanille. Später Gewürze/Ingwer/Chili, Eiche und süßes Malz. Er hat ein schönes Alter, die Eiche gut integriert mit angenehmer Bitterkeit.
