With The Alba Trail series, the German importer Alba Import releases bottlings from its cask stocks at renowned distilleries. This 15-year-old Tomatin comes from a refill Bourbon hogshead and is bottled without chill-filtering and without the addition of colour.

The Distillery: Tomatin

Tomatin has been a rising star among the Scottish distilleries since the beginning of the millennium. The Highland distillery was the biggest Scottish distillery in the 1970, but the quality of the Whisky wasn’t high regarded. Ups and downs followed and after been new positioned from 2000 onwards Tomatin grew to be one of the most reputable Scottish Whisky brands worldwide. read more

Geschmack: Facetten von Liebesapfel und Zimtsternen gehen in Anklänge von Zitronencreme und Bisquittorte über.

Abgang: Buttrig, cremig, mit einer Portion Honig.
