Product description
All stages of Stauning Rye, from malting to bottling, take place at the distillery in Skjern on the west coast of Denmark. For Stauning Rye, rye and barley are malted on our own malting floors. After distillation in direct-fired stills, the whisky is matured for at least three years in toasted American white oak casks. This special edition is then finished in Oloroso and Moscatel sherry casks. The bottle label was designed by the Danish artist Asbjørn Staunstrup Lund.
