Reservoir Distillery, based in Richmond, Virginia, is a producer of handcrafted whiskeys made in small batches from single mash bills. This means that 100% of a single grain is used for each of the whiskeys in the core range. The rye content of the whiskey is 100%. The cask in which it was matured was previously charred out in a 55-second distillation process. Because the inside of the cask after burning out resembles the armoured skin of an alligator, the casks flamed out with Burning Degree No. 4. are also called 'Alligator Char'. Each bottle is numbered by hand, signed by the master distillers and covered with wax.

Herrlich! Nochmal interessanter als der Reservoir Virginia Wheat (der auch echt lecker ist). Malziger Roggen, gebackenes Brot, Süße/ Karamell, Nüsse, Frucht, Anis, Kardamom, Pfeffer (nur ganz leicht) -ganz großes Kino! Spass in Nase, Mund und ein geschmeidiger, langer Abgang. Top! Der wird ein Wiederholungstäter!
