The Rock Island Tequila Cask is a blended malt from Douglas Laing. The independent bottler was founded in 1948 by Fred Douglas Laing and is based in Glasgow, Scotland. A total of four distillates from distilleries on the islands of Orkney, Arran, Jura and Islay were combined for this blended malt and matured in former tequila casks from Mexico. This brings together excellent single malt qualities that are given fine tequila accents through the finish. The hand-drawn bottle design makes the cask influence from Mexico more than clear and is a visual eye-catcher.
