Product description

Millstone American Oak is characterised by its subliminal, fruity character. It owes this to the long, cool fermentation with brewer's and distillery yeast, the gentle distillation and the 27 years of ageing in selected American oak barrels.

The Zuidam distillery was founded in 1975 by Fred van Zuidam. As the malted barley for this whisky is milled with a grinder powered by windmills, as was customary in the past, the single malt was christened "Millstone". It is double distilled in copper pot stills and bottled without chill filtration or the addition of colouring agents.
