Product description

This Single Malt Whisky comes from the Macduff distillery in the Scottish Highlands. The distillate matured for 11 years and received a finish in a first fill Oloroso sherry cask before it was bottled by the Swiss distillery Langatun for the Long Valley Selection series. Langatun is the Celtic term for Langenthal, where the distillery has its headquarters.

The Distillery: Macduff

Macduff is one of the newer distilleries in Speyside, having been founded in 1958. Morty Dyke, George Crawford, James Stirret, and Brodie Hepburn founded the distillery. Together, they formed Macduff Distilleries Ltd. Construction of the distillery was completed in 1960, and the first cask filling occurred in June the same year. read more

Geschmack: Sehr intensiv, fruchtig und würzig mit Akzenten von Aprikosen und Nüssen.
